Dear Reader,
I have wanted to start a blog for a long time now, but have never quite found the courage to put myself out there. I am a 20 year-old English Literature and Creative writing student with a very emotional and chaotic brain. I use my writing as an outlet to process my thoughts and feelings and to explore everything that goes on in my head, but I have rarely found the bravery to share my work beyond a very small group of people close to me, if anyone at all. Documenting my daydreams has always been second nature, but fear of failure has prevented me from standing up and actually putting myself out there.
With a lot of things to say, I have decided it is time to stop putting it off. Creating a platform for myself is a big leap, but is something that I know will be very beneficial for my self-growth both personally and as a writer. I am not going to attempt to define what I will be sharing, because I know that my posts will probably be just as scattered as my thoughts often are, but you are welcome to join me… let’s see where we end up.
